ARTIST: Michael Heslop
A characterful portrayal of Donald Ross, the renowned golf course architect born in Dornoch, Scotland but who lived most of his life in the USA. He famously wrote the book 'Golf Has Never Failed Me' in 1948, but it was never published only to be discovered in the mid-1990's and appropriately named 'the lost commentaries'.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: With a career spanning over 40 years fulfilling worldwide commissions, in-house residencies and lecturing, Michael is a highly qualified, talented artist, whose works are collected worldwide. He is one of the few artists in golf art, whose talent is people rather than landscapes, and he is nothing but exceptional. His ability to capture the anticipation, joy and suspense is wonderful.
