    ARTIST

    Michael Miller

    Michael Miller Portrait

Michael has been painting for over three decades, combining his artistic talent, and love of golf into the perfect blend. As Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf at MountainGate and Riviera Country Club, Michael has had unlimited access to some of America’s greatest courses.

In a unique genre, Michael captures both historical and contemporary golf settings, whilst ensuring accuracy from the architect’s perspective is maintained. The ever-changing weather, seasons plays heavily in his picturesque compositions, which perfectly capture the tones, moods, shades and nuances of the courses he portrays.

His paintings have illustrated two of the most respected golf architecture books, namely ‘The Art of Golf Design’ and ‘The Golden Age of Golf Design’ by golf historian and author, Geoff Shackelford. World leading architects, Gil Hanse and Ben Crenshaw are also ardent fans of his works.
