Hole 12, Heathery (In) is one of golf’s greatest short par 4s. Seemingly innocuous from the tee, there appears to be no danger lurking, but the fairway is actually littered with hidden pot bunkers, many with faces that point away from the direction of play – a throwback to centuries-past, when this portion of land served as the fairway of the 7th hole.
Researched by Evalu18 and inspired by Dr. Alister MacKenzie’s 1924 map, each hole has been meticulously researched. With every named bunker, hump and hollow clearly marked, we have arguably the most feature-complete map of the Old Course ever produced. Read the hole by hole review on Evalu18.
